Plugs into the Aux input and mounts on the battery's positive post, so the monitor shows battery temperature and can warn you if the battery gets too hot or cold. Install tip: the sensor cable replaces the red fused power cable that comes with the monitor, which becomes a spare. The monitor still powers up and measures the battery normally. The Aux input can then no longer read a starter battery or a midpoint voltage.
