How to tell us about a security problem with this website, and what the site does to protect the information you give it.

Prairie Equipment Company, LLC, in Victoria, Minnesota. This policy covers this website, and customer accounts shared with the other websites we run.

Reporting a problem

If you think you have found a security weakness in this site, please email pec.sales@outlook.com with “Security” in the subject line. It helps to include:

• the page address where you found it,
• what you did, step by step, so we can see it for ourselves,
• what you think someone could do with it, and
• how to reach you if we have questions.

While you look

Please keep any testing to what you need to show the problem. In particular:

• use only an account of your own, and do not view, change or delete anyone else’s information,
• do not send automated or bulk traffic, or anything that would slow the site down for customers,
• do not send messages or quotation requests through our forms as part of a test, and
• give us a reasonable chance to fix the problem before you tell anyone else about it.

What this site does to protect you

• No card details. This site does not take payments, so no card details are ever entered here.
• Passwords. Account passwords are stored only in a form that cannot be turned back into the password.
• Forms. Every form that changes something checks that it was sent from this site, so another website cannot submit it in your name.
• Sign-in. Your account cookie cannot be read by scripts on the page. See the privacy policy for every cookie this site sets and what each one is for.
• Pages. The site tells your browser to run only its own scripts, and not to let other websites show its pages inside theirs.

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
